Every image on SafeHaven, whether AI-generated or uploaded, is automatically scanned against the known-CSAM hash set the instant it is uploaded, and a match is blocked before the file is ever stored. Private images stay private, under the same honest-privacy protections as the rest of the platform.
Scanned on upload
Every upload is checked against the industry known-CSAM hash database (Microsoft PhotoDNA) before it is stored. A match is blocked and preserved for reporting, so no one has to see it first.
Reported content comes down
Every image, profile, and message can be reported. We review reports and remove content that breaks the rules, and a removal sticks.

What we do
- Encrypt your messages at rest. Stored as ciphertext, so a stolen database dump is useless on its own.
- Blur your location to a broad area— like “Seattle Metro,” never your street or your door.
- Never link your personas in anything we show other members. The world sees the persona, never the person.
- Age-gate every visitor.SafeHaven is 18+ only, and entry requires confirming you’re an adult.
- Sign you in with one-time links. No password to steal, reuse, or phish.
What we DON'T pretend
- We’re not “zero-knowledge.” We hold the encryption key, so a court order or a breach of us is a real risk. End-to-end is on the roadmap; it isn’t here yet.
- Screenshots can always happen.Anything you send, someone can capture. We won’t promise “screenshot-proof” — nobody honestly can.
- Nothing online is ever 100% private.We give you strong, real protections and the honest limits of each one. That’s the deal.
