Nobody reaches your inbox uninvited
A stranger’s first message is a request, held outside your inbox until you choose to accept it — and no photos can be sent until you do.An unsolicited explicit image on first contact isn’t “against the rules” here; it’s structurally impossible. New members’ inboxes are set so someone has to actually engage with you — a comment, a follow — before a cold first message can land at all. You can open that up whenever you want. The default protects you.
Reports that actually do something
Report a post, comment, picture, video or listing for sharing your photo without your consent, or for posting your address or workplace, and it comes down on report — hidden immediately, not filed in a queue that never moves. Accounts that draw repeated reports from different people get their cold-messaging pauseduntil a moderator reviews it, so a determined harasser can’t just keep going while you wait. And a ban means a ban: it ends their session immediately.
Said plainly: reports in direct messages, groups and events reach a human rather than hiding on the spot. We would rather tell you exactly where the automatic line sits than let you find out when it matters.
We will never punish you for documenting abuse
If someone treats you badly, you have every right to say so. We don’t have a rule that turns you into the rule-breaker for surfacing what was done to you. Our job is to act on the abuser — not to protect them from the record.
Your presence is yours to shape
Block that actually sticks (and can’t be dodged by an alt persona). Keep interests on your profile matchable but private. No algorithm quietly studying your attention to decide what you see — the feed runs on your choices, not a machine’s guesses. (Roadmap, said honestly: friends-only galleries and verified-identity gating are next.)
Your work is yours — including the door out
Export your profile, your writing, your comments, your listings and your follow graph as JSON whenever you like, by yourself, without asking anyone. Pictures are linked rather than bundled into the file. We’re not trying to trap you; we’re trying to earn you. A platform that respects creators is one you can leave, which is exactly why you won’t want to.
