Operative — legal review in progress
This policy is current and operative; a final legal review is in progress — last updated 2026-07-11. It is written to be clear and protective, but it is not legal advice. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement between you and SafeHaven, that agreement controls.
Where the option is
- Sign in. Sign-in is a link we email you, so there is no password to remember. Open the link on the device you want to use.
- Open Settings. It is in your persona menu, in the feed sidebar, and at /account.
- Choose Privacy & security. The first row on the Settings page.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the very bottom of that page and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and confirm. The button only unlocks once you have typed the word, so a stray tap cannot do it for you.
That is the whole process. There is no waiting period, no email to reply to, and no one on our side who has to approve it.
What gets deleted
Everything attached to the account, immediately and permanently:
- every persona you created, and the handles they used
- all posts, comments, photos, videos and studio images
- all messages and conversations
- connections, follows, saved items, event RSVPs and group memberships
- the email address and sign-in sessions on the account
There is no undo and no recovery window. If you only want to retire one identity and keep the rest, use Delete this persona in the same Danger zone instead. The Privacy Policy describes retention in full, including the little we keep for legal reasons.
If you can no longer sign in
Because sign-in is an emailed link, the only thing that can lock you out is losing access to the email address on the account. In that case write to privacy@safehavenkink.com from any address, tell us the address the account was registered with, and ask for deletion. We will need to verify it is really you before we act, and we respond within the time the applicable law requires. You never have to tell us why you are leaving.
Before you go
If you want a copy of your data first, the same Privacy & security page has Export my data. Download it before deleting; once the account is gone there is nothing left to export.
