Operative — legal review in progress
This policy is current and operative; a final legal review is in progress — last updated 2026-07-11. It is written to be clear and protective, but it is not legal advice. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement between you and Champlin Enterprises, that agreement controls.
1. General prohibited uses
You agree not to use SafeHaven to:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate anyone else doing so;
- post, generate, or transmit content prohibited by our Community Guidelines — including anything involving minors, non-consensual content, doxxing, or harassment;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- distribute spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited advertising; or
- interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service or other members’ use of it.
2. No commercial sexual services or solicitation
SafeHaven strictly prohibits using the Service to advertise, offer, solicit, arrange, or facilitate commercial sexual services, escorting, prostitution, or sex trafficking of any kind. This includes direct or coded offers to exchange sexual acts for money, goods, or other consideration; recruiting or advertising anyone for such purposes; and directing members off-platform for the same. This rule reflects our obligations under U.S. law, including the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act and the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act (FOSTA-SESTA), and it applies regardless of whether such activity is legal in your location.
SafeHaven is a social network for connection, community, and consensual adult expression — not a marketplace for sexual services. This policy is what backs the safety screen shown when members create Connections listings: listings, profiles, or messages used for solicitation are removed, and offenders are terminated and, where the law requires, reported. Any suspected trafficking or exploitation of a minor is preserved and reported to NCMEC and law enforcement (see our Child Safety Policy).
3. No scraping, harvesting, or automated abuse
You may not, without our express written permission:
- scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or bulk-collect profiles, images, messages, or any other data from SafeHaven;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access, create accounts, or interact;
- copy, mirror, index, or build a database from the Service’s content or member data; or
- reverse-engineer, resell, or create a competing or derivative service from SafeHaven’s content or code.
4. No security abuse
You may not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or other security or access controls;
- access accounts, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to access;
- upload or transmit malware, or attempt a denial-of-service or overload the infrastructure; or
- forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of activity.
If you discover a genuine security vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to abuse@safehavenkink.com rather than exploiting it.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including removing content, limiting features, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement. See the Terms of Service and Law Enforcement Guidelines for more.
