Dominant
You want to hold the reins.
You’re drawn to leading a scene and a dynamic — setting the pace, holding responsibility, and being trusted with someone’s surrender.
In practice
In practice, a Dominant is usually the one setting a scene’s shape before it even starts — negotiating limits, choosing the activities, and reading a partner’s responses in real time to decide when to push and when to ease off. That might look like giving direction during a scene, holding a partner accountable to agreed-on protocol, or simply being the person a partner trusts to make the call. The through-line is responsibility: leading well means staying present for someone else’s surrender, not just enjoying the control.
